Audient-Equipped Studio Wins MPG Award
This year’s Music Producers Guild (UK) award for Best Studio went to Kore, long-time supporter of Audient with a 48 channel ASP8024 high resolution mixing desk installed in its main studio. All members of staff at the London-based facility are chuffed at the news. “We’re very proud to have been honoured with this award,” says Studio Manager, Tariq Al-Nasrawi. “Specifically as the studio is still relatively new, and the competition in the category was very intimidating!”
Luke Baldry, Sales & Marketing Director at Audient is equally pleased. “What could be better? The best studio in the country using an Audient console! It reflects on the fact that Kore offers the key elements for recording that you’ll find at the largest studio complexes, all at a price that fits with today’s budgets. We’re proud to be associated with Kore and extremely pleased to see an Audient equipped studio win such a prestigious award.”
The MPG Awards, which recognise the skill and talents of music recording professionals, took place in February this year. Although only in its second year the awards ceremony is now firmly established as a ‘must attend’ event on the music industry calendar. Self-confessed Audient fan, producer Cenzo Townsend also picked up an award as Mix Engineer of the Year.
